Ways to Contribute Even If You Don't Want to Write

THE ELECTION IS BARELY 2 MONTHS AWAY!!!!!!!

LET'S BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD, AND BE THAT CHANGE RIGHT NOW!!!

If you do not feel ready or able to contribute a story to this blog, there are a thousand other ways for you to get involved in this campaign for change.  Here are some simple examples:

  •  You can research the candidates and their Vice Presidential choices. There is loads of information available on the internet, just a few clicks away.  www.votesmart.org or www.ontheissues.org are examples of websites that offer information to the public for free about candidates involved in different elections.  Their purpose is to "...Provide non-partisan information for voters in the Presidential election, so that votes can be based on issues rather than on personalities and popularity," (quote from the mission statement of ontheissues.org).  They provide information including the voting histories of different candidates, things they have been quoted as having said, and policies they have pushed through.
  • If you are an Obama supporter, you can **donate** to the Obama campaign. The campaign accepts contributions for as little as $10 and as much as $2300. We have provided a link to the donation page on Obama’s campaign website at the top right hand side of this blog.
  • Read one of Obama’s books! If you really want to know what he thinks, go to the man himself.   Please find links below to google searches of the book titles listed.  From these searches you should be able to find links to amazon.com where you can buy the books, along with links to pages that provides summaries and critiques.

  • Finally, you can forward this blog on to friends, family, strangers, anybody you think might be interested in contributing his or her own story to this cause.  Thank you.
